Sewing for my Great Granddaughter

I have been inspired to create something beautiful for the most photogenic little one I know, my Lily.  She is 2 yrs. and really a precious gift.  I have taken 12 of the many dozens of photographs taken of her and transferred to fabric after printing them off on transfer paper.  I designed original crooked frames, and placed each picture of her inside.  Then, I trimmed each block in 1/2 in lace, and  after they were placed on the top and stitched into place. This evening I finished hand stitching the border in place, and all that is left is to applique some  little hearts  between the photos.

Christmas time

Today as I arrived home from Arkansas, I  walked in the door to see the Christmas tree.  My husband surprised me and had the tree up in our Living room.  Now all I  have to do is decorate.  This evening before I get my crochet and curl up on the couch to work, I will decorate!  Time to get a bit of Christmas Spirit and spread some Christmas cheer.
So I got started... excuse the poor picture, flash, etc...??
